Lee-Anne is the Marketing and Sales Director at the Singer Group. The Singer Group operates various businesses within the tourism industry. Lee-Anne has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and drives business development for the Group. Passionate about leadership, empowerment and social entrepreneurship, she is involved in various community and entrepreneurship programs that drive social change and job creation. These include pop-up shops, events, art exhibitions and workshops. Prior to joining the Singer Group, Lee-Anne worked in media on brands such as CNBC Africa, The Property Magazine and Top Women in Business and Government.
She regularly speaks at conferences and events, the highlight being invited to present at the 2019 International Travel Tech Conference in Tel Aviv. Lee-Anne was selected to join the 2020 cohort of the Eliot Osrin Leadership Institute’s Leadership Development Programme, a 18-month project aimed at developing a new generation of community leadership. She also recently enrolled in the Melton Institute’s YESOD 2.0 Leadership Program. Despite its devastating impact, National Lockdown and Covid-19 has also created exciting new opportunities for Lee-Anne. She has been elected to the Cape board of FEDHASA, the national trade association for the hospitality industry. Here she heads up their communications and commercial committee. She also recently won the Western Cape ‘Positive Role Model’ in the Gender Mainstreaming Awards. Most recently, Lee-Anne was appointed to the board of Glendale Home, a facility and home for adults with intellectual disabilities. Her portfolio includes communications and fundraising. However, her biggest and most exciting project is raising her three children Ruby, Joseph and Daniel, and their new lock-down rescue doggie, Noah.
