The Virtual Leaders’ Walk has been created to nurture the development of aspiring leaders and to help them unlock their future potential. This is done during an interactive networking breakfast that will encourage meaningful engagement and dialogue.

Each table is hosted by a leader in their field who imparts knowledge, experience and words of wisdom to the table, while directing the conversation.

Speaker Biography

Itumeleng is a Director, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Executive, Published Author, Leader and mother. She is a Business Scientist by training having attained a Bachelor of Commerce Honours and has spent the bulk of her career in the fast moving consumer goods industry, working with brands, stakeholders and communities. Itumeleng has had the pleasure of working in several multinationals over her 20 year career and has also been involved in boards in the past five years.

She is currently a Director on the board of the company she works for and Heads Marketing and Corporate Affairs across 18 countries in Africa, as well as leading some global assignments within the business. Itumeleng is interested in management and leadership as a discipline and has completed a Masters Degree on the subject matter.

She is a closet philanthropist and believes in giving her finances and time towards causes closest to her heart. More than this, Itumeleng believes in making a difference in the lives of people wherever she is placed. Nothing gives her more pleasure than seeing small businesses grow into sizeable entities that can impact economies positively.

Her goal for 2020 was to take up tap dancing, which has been temporarily halted by COVID-19…but not forever!
